With summer finally upon us, it’s only natural that people have begun to ask what school will look like when (if?) we return in the fall.
Though a number of recurring themes have emerged (outdoor learning, family-style dining, more virtual learning), I have to admit…I’ve been disappointed not to see more innovative paths forward being proposed.
On episode 23 of the Vocabbett podcast, I share an idea for a new model that might gain traction in a post-COVID world.
And to be clear, I don’t have all the answers. However, it would be an incredible mistake not to take a step back during this time and examine our education system as a whole. Right now, we seem determined only to make coronavirus-inspired tweaks to the existing model!
